The weather continued to cooperate this past weekend at the Thunder Over the Rock Airshow in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Team opened the Airshow each day by jumping in the American Flag to the National Anthem, and then followed up with mass formations. The Team presented batons at both jumps, and interacted with the crowd afterwards.

This particular Airshow was able to show the crowd a great variety of military parachuting, as the Canadian Skyhawks Parachuting Team and a 400 person static line drop was also part of the show. The great showing during the day was carried over into the social on Saturday night, which allowed the performers to present framed pictures to the Airshow.

In addition to a lithograph for Col Minihan, Gold Team also presented one to #7 of the Air Force Thunderbirds, as this was their last show together. As the last of the aircraft landed after performing on Sunday, no one could argue that Little Rock AFB put on a phenomenal Airshow, and the Golden Knights are eager to return for the next one.

Didn’t know this team existed before they came up on the news after the El Paso “UFO” sightings of last week. They do amazing stuff.

We attended Thunder Over the Rock and were MESMERMIZED by the Golden Knights!!! After being invited by SGT.Rachel Medley to help pack up her parachute, my son Brock’s life was changed FOREVER! Her time and words had such an impact on him. He is only 10, but has his sights set on the military! This past holiday season, he encouraged his 4th grade class at school to hold a donation drive for the soldiers that are currently overseas and now has about 13 penpals that are currently stationed in Afghanistan!! Thank you, Miss Medley and the United States Army for the impact that you made on him!!!
