Black Team LOVES Texas

And it’s a good thing, too, because they’ve been spending a lot of time there in the past month…first El Paso, a couple of weeks ago, just now wrapping up in Fort Worth and then heading to San Antonio Thursday.

The weekend show at Fort Worth Alliance Air Show was amazing. Each day started with a gorgeous Texas sunrise, followed by perfectly blue skies and a steady breeze. Black Team performed a mass formation jump Friday, then put on a full show Saturday and Sunday. The cutaway maneuver got the crowd fired up like always, and the diamond track brought gasps from everyone as the jumpers got a close cross.

Black Team was augmented this weekend by two members of the Tandem Team and SSG Aaron Figel from the Gold demonstration team. Black team will be staying in the Fort Worth area this week to visit some local high schools, then Thursday it’s off to San Antonio for the Lackland Show.

And Texas loves the Black Team, too! Great job this weekend y’all… I really appreciate the Black Team’s “personality” and the way they extend themselves to welcome anyone they come into contact with. Keep up the good work… and thank you very much for your service to our country.
