Despite the chilly breeze that whipped around the new Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, the mood was light as Black Team took their initial look at the brand new stadium for the pre-game jump tomorrow.

The jumpers were escorted out onto the field, where they took note of the cables that ran across either end zone, in order to plan a safe approach into the stadium during the jump. As the workers went about their work of getting the field and the stadium ready for the game, NY Jets personnel gave the jumpers a tour through the players’ hallways and they even got to go into the locker room!

The jump will happen at 12:42 pm tomorrow, 20 minutes before kickoff. The Jets’ head coach Rex Ryan called for a “loud out” from the fans and told them to arrive early to see the Military Appreciation Day pre-kickoff festivities, including the Golden Knights and an Air Force F-16 flyover.
