After the bout of storms in North Carolina, the temperatures are starting to rise. Dogwood trees are blooming. People are actually wearing shorts, from time to time. That can only mean one thing. The Golden Knights Tandem Team has been working Hand in Hand with the Miami Recruiting Battalion over the last few weeks. The Tandem Team has been taking local principals, educators and administrators from local High Schools on Tandem jumps. On Saturday, The Golden Knights and the Miami Recruiting Battalion were honored to host 10 Mayors from the Southern Florida area to honor and sign a Community Covenant. (more…)

There are some traditions in the Golden Knights that can trace their roots far deeper than the Team’s 50-year lifespan. While the Black and Gold canopies and air show performances are signatures of the US Army Parachute Team, the Army Values and good, old-fashioned mentorship are what REALLY holds this Team together.
The Non-Commissioned Officer (the rank of Sergeant and above) has been known for generations as the “Backbone of the Army.” On them rests the responsibility to teach, train, and lead the Soldiers in their charge. Every member of the Golden Knights (more…)
