Every year, Golden Knights are invited to El Paso, Texas to close out the year by taking part in the Sun Bowl. Each year, the Sun Bowl is held on New Year’s Eve in this unique stadium, cut out of the mountainside of western Texas. This has become one of our most sought-after traditions as we close out each year’s show season.
Black Team travels to the west coast to share the Black and Gold with Stanford, California. Flying over Foster Field, the Team stepped out into the darkness from 3,000 feet to make their grand entrance. When SFC Brian Sealing took the microphone, Stanford didn’t even realize that they were going to witness a very unique Golden Knight performance.
Churchill Downs has been in the businness of Horse Racing for 137 years. Famous for their “Twin Spires,” they regularly bring crowds of 150,000+ to partake in the racing culture. It’s hard to believe that this monumental track has never shared its grounds with a parachute team. Fortunately, Black Team was proud to change that and add a new venue to their history!
